South African Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation: Willing to Deepen Cooperation with China in AI and Other Fields
Blade Nzimande, South Africa's Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, said in a recent exclusive interview with Xinhua News Agency in Pretoria that South Africa looks forward to further deepening cooperation with China in areas such as artificial intelligence, clean energy, and youth science and technology talent exchanges, so as to continuously bring bilateral sci-tech innovation cooperation to a new level.
Nzimande noted that clean energy is also one of the key priorities in South Africa-China sci-tech cooperation. At present, the two sides are working together on hydrogen energy, green ammonia, and low-carbon technologies in the mining and energy sectors.
Nzimande added that the young scientist exchange program plays an important role in promoting sci-tech cooperation between the two countries.
