On October 8-9, 2019, the fourth China-Central and Eastern European Countries Innovation Cooperation Conference, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Government of Serbia, was held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Han Long, the GM of BGRIMM Group, led a delegation to attend the event. On October 8, Chinese Minister of Science and Technology Wang Zhigang, Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić, Minister of Innovation and Technology Development of Serbia Nenad Popovic, Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Arovic, Hungarian Minister of Innovation Laszlo Palkovics, Romanian Minister of Innovation Nikolae Hurduc, Croatian Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Mario Antonic and other dignitaries attended the conference. The conference attracted about 800 delegates from China and Central and Eastern Europe.

Witnessed by Minister Wang Zhigang and Minister Popovici, Han long signed an agreement on the joint laboratory between the five parties on behalf of BGRIMM Group. According to the agreement, BGRIMM proposed and led the construction and operation of the joint laboratory at the University of Belgrade, through cooperation with other four parties of Serbia Zijin Boer Copper Co., Ltd., Hebei Steel Group Serbia Co., Ltd. and Ronly Limited. The signing of the joint laboratory agreement is an active promotion for BGRIMM’s business in Europe and also an important practice of the Belt and Road Initiative, further strengthening the potential of cooperation and enhancing level of cooperation in science and technology innovation.
