The national research project of Green Design of Flotation and Extraction Chemicals passed the acceptance appraisal held at Beijing lately. Initiated by BGRIMM and jointly carried out by CSU, Tsinghua University, Guizhou University and Beijing Rock Industrial and Trading Company, the project develops 17 new types of flotation and extraction chemicals including 7 kinds of flotation reagents for sulfide minerals, 7 kinds of flotation reagents for non-sulfide minerals and 3 kinds of nonferrous metallurgy extractants. Making a breakthrough in traditional processing technology, the research realizes green production of chemicals with improved product quality and promotes the overall industrial R&D level.
