Stiring-Leaching Project of Tibet Yulong Copper Mine successfully Commissioned

On 15 December, 2013, with BGRIMM as the technology supplier , the stiring-leaching project of Tibet Yulong copper mine harvested qualified copper cathodes, marking a successful commission of the project with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons of copper cathodes. The commission marks a breakthrough of exploitation over Yulong copper mine, and a new level BGRIMM has achieved in terms of its technological strength in China’s copper mines in high altitude area.

Located in Changdu Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region with an altitude of 4,500 meters above sea level, Yulong copper mine is the one of the largest copper mineral deposits in China, with a proven copper reserve of more than 6.5 million tons.
