On Nov. 9-12, headed by Vice President Han Long, the delegation of BGRIMM paid a visit to South Africa to take part in the Workshop of BGRIMM-UCT-UL Collaborative Research Program. Hosted by Llanley Simpson, director of mining and mineral processing from Department of Science and Technology of South Africa(DST), the workshop was attended by the officials from the embassy of the People's Republic of China in South Africa and the overseas bilateral cooperation of DST, and the researchers from UCT, CSIRO, UL and MINTEK. Staff from BGRIMM’s R&D department, mineral processing division and mining engineering division were present and gave reports on the joint project at the workshop.
