The 15th International Symposium on Mine Backfilling took place in Beijing from May 17 to 20. Co-organized by the Nonferrous Metals Society of China and BGRIMM Technology Group Co., Ltd., the event gathered global industry experts and scholars to exchange cutting-edge advances in mine backfilling technology. Han Long, Chairman of BGRIMM Technology Group, delivered a keynote speech at the conference. Ma Yanqing, Deputy General Manager of the group also attended the event.

In his address, Han highlighted China’s remarkable progress in mine backfilling technology driven by the country’s green development strategy. Supported by policies for green mine construction, comprehensive resource utilization and ecological environmental protection, China has achieved transformative upgrades in mine backfilling technologies. The industry has witnessed three major upgrades: from dry backfilling to cemented backfilling, from high-concentration backfilling to paste backfilling, and from low-efficiency operation to intelligent and high-efficiency backfilling, contributing valuable Chinese experience and solutions to global green mining development.
