On Jan 8, 2016, the National Science and Technology Award Conference was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Chinese President Xi Jinping and other State officials attended the conference and presented awards to the winners. BGRIMM’s two research achievements were granted the 2015 State Science and Technology Prizes, of which the Controllable Pressure Leaching Technology for Complex and Refractory Mineral Resources, accomplished by BGRIMM President Jiang Kaixi’s team, won the second class State Technological Invention Award, while the Research and Practice of Efficient Transformation from Open pit to Underground Mining and Construction for Large-scale Digital Metallic Mine won the second class State Science and Technology Progress Award.
