“Joint Development of Green Cement Composites Using Ash Slag Mixtures of Energy and Metallurgical Slag”National key research and development program,key special projects of intergovernmental international cooperationin science and technology innovation applied bytheInstitute of Mining Engineering (IME)ofBGRIMM Technology Group has been approved. This project is BGRIMM’s first approved China-Uzbekistanintergovernmental science and technology cooperation project. It explores new partners for the BGRIMM’s international scientific and technological cooperation.

This project focused on the key technical problems in recycling and utilisingsolid waste in China and Uzbekistan. IMEcooperated with theAcademy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, build a China-Uzbekistan joint laboratory for solid waste utilisation to develop a slag based green cementitiousmaterial for backfill purpose. This Collaborative researchis expected to break through the technicalbottleneck of large-scale utilisation for non-ferrousmetallurgical solid waste. Establish new theories, new technologies, new methods and new materials for mine waste utilisation, and build engineering application demonstrations.
