In July 2017, BGRIMM’s international collaborative research project of Comprehensive Monitoring and Risk Prevention and Control Technology for High Steep Slope Mining was accepted and highly recognized by the experts at the appraisal meeting organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China at Beijing. Successfully breaking out several technical bottlenecks including efficient analysis of massive micro-seismic monitoring data and early warning based on dynamic evaluation of multi-source monitoring information, the research results improve China’s overall capability in risk prevention and control of high steep slope mining, paving the way for safe and efficient utilization of mineral resources.
