A Breakthrough in Clean Copper Smelting: BGRIMM's Oxygen-Enriched Side-Blown Smelting Technology

Revolutionizing the processing of ultra-high silica complex copper concentrates, BGRIMM has developed a high-intensity, high-temperature oxygen-enriched side-blown smelting furnace and introduced the world’s first fully hot “three-furnace continuous copper smelting” process: side-blown smelting → bottom-blown converting → anode refining.

This integrated flowsheet delivers outstanding performance:

1. Copper & precious metal recovery rates exceeding 98%

2. Smelting capacity: 100–150 t/(m²·d)

3. Specific energy consumption as low as 150–250 kg standard coal per tonne of product
